Wat zou er verrijzen wanneer je een grote mand van staaldraad gebruikt als een frame voor de productie van een mal? Natuurlijk loopt alle gips er door heen maar toch is het grid van de staaldraden erg mooi. Ik heb met grote ballonnen een model gemaakt. Ik plaatste de ballon in de mand en goot er kilo's gips in. Door het gewicht van het gips drukte de ballon tegen het grid aan. Toen het gips eenmaal was uitgehard werd de mand omgedraaid en er af getrokken. De ballon scheurde en een enorme puddingpoef was geboren!

Cupcake Tabouret (2010)
The last and most massive endeavor came into being by using a big, 0,5 meter diameter iron wired bucket as frame for mould production. Of course the plaster would pour out so, in order to use the grid of the wires as texture of the eventual shape, Lara ordered enormous balloons. These balloons served as a skin, able to extend trough the grid like a fast enlarging belly when filling with plaster. When the bucket got taken off the balloon skin, the balloon burst, giving birth to a tremendous cupcake tabouret. This was the inner mould of a further to realize resulting tabouret.
